Our infant/toddler program utilizes Maryland's Healthy Beginnings Learning Standards and Learning Beyond Paper curriculum. Active learning is the foundation of the curriculum, as well as, observation, adult-child interaction, schedules/routines, and the learning environment.

Our Terrific Twos curriculum focuses on play, social-emotional development, and developing trusting relationships with staff and peers. Our twos are introduced to STEAM through hands-on learning experiences and active play engagement strategies.

High-quality child care creates a stimulating, safe, and loving environment for your child. As caregivers and educators, our mission is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters a child's natural desire to explore, discover, create, and become lifelong learners. Our ultimate goal is to develop positive relationships and connect with our children's families to enhance a positive environment for all, thus strengthening the high-quality care we offer.
History-Humble Beginnings
Tip Top Tots ELC, formerly known as Greater Works Childcare, opened in June 2014 as a faith-based summer camp for preschool children, which provided early reading development. In 2015, GWC added a date night service to its offerings and special event child care services. June 2015, GWC continued as a summer camp providing care for school-aged children five and up, along with an intensive reading program. In September 2015, GWC opened its first infant/toddler family daycare in Bowie, MD.
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and lack of available child care, TTT opened a family home daycare in Waldorf, M.D. In 2021, TTT took over as the owner of Little Creek School in Chestertown, M.D. TTT currently operates three locations in Maryland, and we're still growing!

TTT fosters an environment where children are free to explore, discover, create, and learn. We pride ourselves on using an individualized curriculum that meets each child to guarantee success in life once they have matriculated through our program. TTT also understands how big of role families and the child's environment play in each child's development. TTT prides itself on the ability to connect and develop positive, lifelong relationships with all of our families so that they feel connected to TTT's mission and ultimately a part of our extended family.
